We should be so lucky. We have 2 5 of clubs? That’s a good sign. No really though, this is a call. It always sucks to call all-in, but I’m not sure what more we could ask for here. It is 6 max and we have a made hand, I don’t know how we don’t have the best hand at the table. We are losing 2k chips every 3 hands, and right now we can only last about 4 more hands before we have to shove again, but even then the antes will have sapped us for 4k, reducing our stack to 24k.

We have a super aggressive player who has 4 times our stack sitting immediately to our right, it is unlikely we are going to get a chance to be the first-in. Since we have to scratch that plan, we need to have a hand that can win a show down. You know he is bubble abusing with garbage ranges. Having pocket 5s, I’m not sure what more we are hoping for. If we don’t play this, in 1 more full rotation we will have only 13k, which isn’t enough to do anything even if we double.

I think we are absolutely foolish to not take a chance and call here, and double up to 56k. This seems very much like the best shot we are going to get before we get blinded out. Not only that, but we already have a caller who is playing crap hands, and has enough chips to double us up. I would rather call and take 1 chance to double up to 56k, then fold and have to double up TWICE just to get to 56k. Folding here does us no good, it seems quite foolish. We are on a final table bubble, and the short stack at that table will have a lot more than 28k in chips, I can assure you that.

No brainer Call.

Fistpump snap call. V, according to good shorthand and bubble abuse procedures, should be shoving just about ATC at this point, a lot of which we are way ahead of, and probably more likely a coinflip. We could call being a 60/40 dog and it will still be +cEV to call, and this is up against a 35+% shoving range, which his range will be even wider than that. Against a 50% shoving range, weve got just over 52% equity to win. We have to take thin value sometimes to be able to go deep in one of these, especially a turbo. Call happily.

I’d insta-call. Hero is up against a wide V range, perhaps both over-cards. In most cases, Hero is between a 5-4/3-2 fav to double-up. With an M=2, getting a pp again is unlikely before the sands run out.

This is an ideal spot against agg V with some history abusing the bubble. Good point general on the position – unlikely we will be able to get our chips in first with this type of opponent to our right. Hero’s tight image pays-off here.

If the small blind calls here (hero), what range would you need to call if you’re in the big blind? I agree with the call contingent on the quiz but I am a little wary of the player left to act behind getting 3 to 2 when he knows V is pushing light. If the BB does come along it’s a horrible spot.

It’s a different story for the BB here.
BB is the 2nd biggest stack at the table, so he can be patient and doesn’t need to risk all his chips.
Good news for BB is he only has to be better than the D to come out ahead as our $28K makes very little difference. In the end I think our call is inconsequential for BB. If he has a hand to call player D with, he should call regardless of what we did – but it’s for his entire stack, so he needs to be a little careful.
If I’m BB, I call for sure with 88+,AT+ and I consider calling with 22+ and any 2 broadway cards.

I’d call w/77+ and AJ+.

Very easy.
He doesn’t have a better PP so we’re ahead right now. Call and be happy to get it in good. V likely has 2 overs but it’s a chance we have to take in this situation.

i really hate this spot. we’re definitely against 2 overs, and crushed if we’re unlucky. the question is: is waiting better than taking the coinflip? blinds and antes are huge relative to our stack, and turbo means theyll be impossible very soon. seems like you have to take a chance here. Win a flip and who knows how the rest of this tourney can go…..
