Game type: $1k on Poker Stars
Stage of tourney: Mid stages
Your image: Loose
Opponent’s image:
Your hand: K♣8♣
The setup: You’re fairly deep in the Super Tuesday, but you just haven’t been able to get any momentum. You’ve maintained a 10BB stack over the last few levels with multiple all ins that went uncalled, so your image isn’t the best.
This hand you’re dealt K8s and the table folds to a player crippled one hand before, who moves all in.
It’s your action. What’s your play?

Dealing it Twice in Online Poker
Given just the fold/raise options, I fold.
3 big stacks left to act means H needs to would need to commit in order to isolate – H has loose image so others can call fairly light.
Depending on image of the other three players, I could see calling since we’ll be getting around 4-1 after pricing in the blinds. If one of the other players pushes or I whiff the flop, I can fold pretty easily. Main drawback is giving other players opportunity to raise and fold us out.

easy fold. shove our small stack in against an all in and the 3 big stacks at the table, with a loose and desperate image, holding k/8 off? uh, no.

Loose image, 3 lg stax to go, K8s … don’t think twice, fold.

I agree with you, but apparently you do have to think twice ‘cos 45% would raise. Definite insta-fold.
