don’t raise…wait for the 8 and 6 of club to fall on the turn and the river…and then value bet…

Raise small. In position I would call but here will want to be more aggresive.

this is a no brainer flat call. you have a great flop to work with, and an aggressive opponent who is firing away. as a tight player, you want to call representing stubborn frustration, not raise giving away a monster made hand with the nutflush draw to go with it. especially because of stack sizes, a raise here scares anything but the strongest of hands right out of the pot. if we play this soft we could easily double up. all we need is him to fire either the turn or river and hes committed for the rest of our stack. thank you, please come again.

I agree with just calling. In my mind though I’m pretty much committed to this hand no matter what. I mean, no matter what comes on the turn, am I ever folding to a bet here considering the smallish stack that I have left? I think I slow play this as much as possible and hope for a nice double up or close to it, and if I end up being beat then it just wasn’t meant to be in this tourny…happens all the time.

Agreed with CityBorn, this is a no brainer. Im surprised so many people have voted raise here. A raise here will most likely scare the villian off.
Then check the turn. Hopefully another club doesnt come down which may kill the action and scare V from firing again. Unless he also has a big club.

CityBorn has this nailed.
I’m looking for a way to get all the chips in the middle and I think it takes one more solid bet from our agg opponent to get the job done.

I’ll opt to call here. Hero’s line is weak-passive, so a raise would indicate a set or 54. Imo we want to maintain that line and are likely to do so since only 13 cards at most may halt action. Since the v is fairly agg, let’s slow-play with the odds in our favor. V stack is 2x hero, so let them think they can bully this pot.

agree with cityborn, there are barely any worse hands that would call a raise, so you fold out all of villains bluffs if you raise. by calling then checking the turn you allow villain to bluff, and bet worse hands for value. If villain checks behind on the turn, then i bet the river.
