raise and call a reraise.
im gladly getting my stack in there in this spot. first off, we’re shorthanded, which makes my 66 even more likely to be the best hand. the other players are aggressive and im raising from late position, which will make them more likely to put me on a wider range. im the shortest stack at the table and this is a chance to boost my standings and make a run toward one of the top spots. i can possibly take it down right here with the raise which would be fine, or if they want to be on the wrong side of a coinflip where i can double up, ill take that too.
open shoving is a bad idea for a few reasons. first of all, you want to keep your raises consistent so you can be unreadable. open shoving spells scared….something like a small pocket pair or a/k that doesnt want to see a flop. second of all, the only hands that call a shove are hands that have you crushed, whereas a standard raise can induce a mistake from someone with an even smaller pocket pair, or something like an a/5 that puts you on a steal or wants to make a move. im not scared to let a mediocre hand call and play cards post flop either, so if they want to flat my raise, thats fine, more money in the pot, ive got position….lets play some poker.

Voted raise and call r-r. 66 is strong 6-handed, plus hero has position on all except button. Button would be my primary concern. Folding or limping are not very strong plays, and you will get eaten at this type of table. Shoving leaves you vulnerable if indeed the remaining players wake-up with an over-pair, and it also removes your position advantage. The latter also eliminates the option of not calling a raise, especially from the blinds. Again the image of this table dictates that you play this hand aggressively.

im not really looking to race for my stack if they reraise, best move imo is to shove

I too would just shove.
Raising and getting a positional call from the button and then a blind or two coming along for the odds would be absolutely terrible.
Yes a shove here smells like small pockets, but these are still strong aggressive players who like to take the initiative, not call shoves from TAGS with KQ because they smell small pockets.
If we raise here in addition to the problem of multiple callers we also invite shoves from the aggressive players with a wider range of hands then would call our shove. If we had a stronger hand that would be great, but 66 is not a hand I really want to go to the mat with, I’d rather pick up the blinds and antes and move to the next hand.

I voted raise fold to rr, good enough hand for a steal, not good enough to make it to the river
[Reply]
risking whole stack to steal potentially just 0.4% of your stack? no thx…
just raise and fold if they re-pop – this is bubble…find a better spot to make a stand.

correction: i meant 4%.
