Almost an easy fold. Button has position and chips. Range is wide, but you are trying to make final table and you have button next. If button only raised you could have re-raised all-in and got some equity or possibly called to see a flop. But calling with this hand in a tourney is not too good an idea.

Having the button next is no good against this player – he’s very likely to be raising from the cutoff next hand.
I call here.
BB is likely to fold on bubble so we’re going to be heads up.
KJs is strong enough vs this players range. Lets try and double up so we actually have some chips if we survive the bubble.

Voted call. Hero has M of just over 2, fairly tight image and up against an agg v who is likely trying to take advantage of the bubble. Time is running down … call and hope to get lucky.

I’m with you here Samo.
Times running down like you said. He’s been a bully all night and chances are he’s just defending that bubble against your tight image. I’d take advantage of my tight appearance and play reguardless of my cards. Call and hope luck prevails. No since in folding imo.

I would go ahead and call. I’d then take the flop into consideration but I’d more than likely make a continuation bet probably a pot-sized bet in order to make calling unattractive. If he called- I’d probably make another stab at the pot. If he went all in- I’d consider the board. Depending on how loose he was I might try to play a high-card but I’m guessing I might be beat. Just depends on how loose he really is at core. Also, I’d take my outs into account.

If you fold here, you might as well uninstall Pokerstars and /life.

wow, you guys clearly dont know how to play tourneys, sure he might be pushing with anything but more than likely hes gonna have at least a 40% chance of winning with two random cards. Could also have A rag and then your an underdog. Dont go out calling, go out pushing and then getting called. Also if you think about it, he probably has a hand because hes not gonna wanna lose over 80 percent of his stack if the BB wakes up with A’s or K’s

Even AA is a gamble. Be a man. Take a favorable gamble.
“Could also have A rag and then your an underdog.”
OMG he could have KK too!!!
“Also if you think about it, he probably has a hand because hes not gonna wanna lose over 80 percent of his stack if the BB wakes up with A’s or K’s.”
Seriously?

Obviously we’re in decent shape vs his range with an overlay. Problem is by mentioning the bubble, the quiz is invoking ICM considerations, but since it doesn’t tell us the pay-out structure there’s no way for us to calculate this!

As much as I dislike calling all-in with KJ, our M dictates that we can’t possibly fold here. Yes, we do have a button next hand but this is of little use, as V is very likely to put in a raise also from CO as well, and EVEN IF HE WON’T then we’d be going all in against a deep BB with even lower M as we have now – as the blinds are set to go up the next hand. And this means that we will stand to get called a lot.
I don’t like it but I call.

This is a great situation to get back in the game. Likely HU against an over aggressive idiot with chips. Expect k10 off suit or 33 type hand to be shown. Letting this one go is too weak at this stage IMO.
