Call in hopes that it’ll induce one more bet on the river.

what if the board pairs and the player is chasing a full house? raise and you will know more information or just take the pot down.

Call.
If we call will our oponent fire again on the river?
That’s the biggest factor for me here.
We want to get this all in but we won’t be able to do that if we just call and our opponent doesn’t lead the river. If they lead half pot again we can shove our last 4.7K and they’d be calling 2.7K to win around 10K.
If were were to raise here we should raise to 2,500k. That would mean that on the river we can shove for our last 2.2K and our opponent is calling 2.2 to win around 10K.
In both those scenarios our opponent is going to feel compelled to call alot of the time.
So what is more likely? That our opponent will check the river after we flat a second time? Or that they will fold to a raise here?
It depends on what they have obviously. If they have a flush we are better off raising here. If they have two pair / top pair we are better off calling. If they are bluffing the monotone board we probably aren’t getting any further action no matter what we do.
Since the flush is the least likely holding and the chance of the river bricking is good I think we should call here expecting our opponent to lead most rivers.

Raise.
Any club on the river is making difficult for you to get any value bet from villain;min raise now and guarantee yourself another bet + you set an easy perfect sized all in on the river with just a 1/2 bet, making impossible for villain not to call getting about 3/1.

Voted raise. It is a limped pot, so hope that the v hit the flop and is putting you on a draw. More likely to get a raise called here than a value bet on the riv, imo. A 4th club will halt the action even if the v has one, since hero has both the A and K.

No one takes the bait? This is AK, not AA, it’s not a fun hand to play out of position. Not that any hand is fun to play out of position. Try raising preflop.
Here I just call and hope the villain fires again on the river if it bricks. We’re unlikely to get much more money. A (small) raise on the turn after our flop smooth call looks ridiculously strong, though, so better to continue slowplaying.

I like the EP limp-reraise at very aggro tables, especially if there are some players who love to isolate the limper. Obviously not every table is like this, but it’s quite common these days. Since that isn’t the question, we don’t know, but I suspect that’s what they were doing.

Donk bet??? No way. Let the fish do the job, but slow play required
.
I bet any money fish will bet 4775 on the river. Lets him do it.

Obvious call here. Why spring the trap when our opponent has shown he’s willing to keep firing. Let him commit himself on the river, or make a crying call with top pair/two pair/set if he checks and we fire. He can easily put us on a missed draw at that point, bluffing after he checks the river.

Raise, the player limps in he could have J8 or pocker 4s etc. the board pairs you can be in deep trouble.

I like a small raise to find out more about our villian. If he has 2 pair or top pair, he’ll probably stick around. If he has a set or a flush (or 2 pair?), he may re-raise, and then you can go all in. If he has rags, he’ll fold and you won’t have to show down your monster.
If you are not all in and the river is benign, you can v-bet for a few more chips. I’d even v-bet if the board pairs, and be prepared to fold if he raises to put me all in.

i voted raise. nobody said how much to raise either. a minraise here will give you a good idea where your opponent is at. set or flush and hes not folding. also need to factor in who you are playing against too. if its a calling station or a maniac, of course you are going to slow play it. however, if you are up against a solid opponent, they are probably playing top 2, flush or even set where you dont want to see a river all that much.

call – he may even think he can get us off the hand on the river with an all in bet
