Can You Guess the Online Poker Room?
Pros for calling: You are both playing somewhat deep and you have a hand that can flop pretty strong. The deep stacks increase both your chance to win a big pot when you hit and your ability to make a move when you miss.
Cons: You’re facing an opponent who three bets wide, so your chance of playing a big pot isn’t all that awesome. The SB is obviously very strong, which will probably slow the button down even more, and also means that a couple of your straight cards are probably out of play.
It doesn’t seem like there’s nearly the upside you need to consider making this call.
What actually happened: You folded and the button and the SB got the rest in on the flop. The button showed KTs and the SB showed AQs. AQ paired and won the pot.

If you are worried abou t the aggressiveness of the table, move to another table. That aside, I am paying and looking for a good flop or fold.
What I would do different here is not betting the pre-flop, since the table is agressie, I want to start with a small pot with these suited connectors and call a smaller raise.

I like a call here. With a wide range and odds to call, the button will call behind and that puts me in a 3 way pot with a great drawing hand. There are a lot of flops I like with this hand, and with 2 other players in the pot, if I hit, Im getting paid by at least one of them.

I’d call with this good drawing hand, getting 3-1 odds. To an overpair you’d be a 4-1 dog. SB likely does not hold this or you would have heard from them. Button certainly could, but their image would lead me to call. If the flop is unfavorable, I’m folding to any bet.

You aren’t getting the odds with the SB only having a buck left. And I disagree that he is “obviously very strong.” If he was that strong he would have just pushed.
You can’t be playing this hand heads up for a decent raise like that.

I went with call for several reasons.
1) Button’s range is pretty big. It includes big pairs, but I’m thinking more likely middle pair or good draw. The raise just feels designed to move me out of the pot (KTs is ridiculous, though).
2) SB has a draw. His chip stack is pretty low and any big pair here would shove, knowing that the button is all but committed to a call. If he shoved, I would fold.
3) Maybe it’s me, but I don’t like getting pushed around like this. Folding here will probably mean I have to adjust my game for a few orbits at least. It might be pissing my money away, but I have plenty of stack to overcome if I leave after the flop.
4) I think I can outplay these guys after the flop under the right circumstances. A 3x raise followed by a call in the face of aggression and a previous caller is a spooky move. Funny thing is, I think I have a better chance at taking down the pot if the flop comes low than if I pair my J.

fold. Hitting your jack or ten probably aint gonna do you much good with a 3bet and a call after you. Hitting 2 pair or better is 25 to 1 against which doesnt justify calling with the pot odds you are getting. I

continued from above…..
If you hit the flop hard you aint gonna get paid by the other big stack coz you know his hand is probably weak so forget implied odds.
If you hit a flush draw your out of position to the big stack so its hard to get paid if your flush comes in and your cards are too low to play it aggressively by betting out the draw.
Easy fold.

Fold.
The SB is very strong to flat call over half his stack, meaning he’ll have 4.5-6 to 1 to raise all in after the flop. To me, that’s scarier than shoving: (isolating with small pocket pair?)
So you can probably kiss the first 350 goodbye if you only hit your 10 or jack.
You are both and button are both deep, which is a plus for a suited connector. However, the pot has gotten too large too quickly, and you may or may not see the river even if you have a draw, and even if you hit–do you know he’ll pay–you only have 1 opponent, and starting a new pot when 1 person (in this case SB) is allin without a strong hand is a major mistake in poker.

the dealer raised and he’s in position w.r.t. me!
Even if I could flop a flush there is always the possibility of a diamond overcard on the D or BB hands!
no way to call!

Fold.
1.The SB flat calling 12.5xBB is disturbing
A. He had a raise AND a reraise in front of him
B. He is committing more than half his stack
C. He didn’t go allin. I interpret this as wanting your action ie big pair.
D. Position doesn’t seem to matter for his hand (guess what)
2. Your a 4.5 to 1 dog getting 3 to 1 on a call.
3. It’s a cardinal sin of poker to bet into a pot when another person is allin without a strong hand.
A.While this axiom may let you draw more easily, it could also easily deter the LAG from the pot [can't bluff out someone who's already allin], and big hand hands are worth as much as little ones when no one will pay you.
