Why always these high stakes heads up cash questions? Hard to relate to.
I voted wrong, said fold. I didnt imagine he would bluff when we seemed to be that committed, so the question is whether he would push with a low pair with the preflop action.
Well, OK, he did one of the things.
Not my kind of question.

Feels like an A-4 to me. I chose call. But what do I know – people were drawing out on me left and right last night at hustler

Call. Pretty easy.
With the given pot odds, you need to win here 25% of the time to make this +EV… that’s not much. And his range is pretty wide here… 2 high cards, pocket pair, some other piece of the flop.

Agree with DHQ staff, fairly straightforward call, in light of the odds given at just over 3 to one. Easy to see Phil turn over 88, 77, 66, 55 as well as AK, AQ, AJ which gives enough range to go with the risk that you are a 4 to one dog against a pair of 10s or higher.

I disagree that it’s an easy one, but I did vote to call. We’re either way behind or slightly ahead.
This is a great flop for Ivey to jam with air. Any two high cards that we would have re-raised with definitely missed. I think he’s jamming here with any T, 4, or 2, 53, A3, A5 types of hands or complete air. We’re really only worried about him connecting with a T. Only problem is that if he did catch a T, we’re looking at only two outs.
Anyway, I think he’s got air enough, or a lower pair enough, to make the call here. As has been posted, we don’t need to be right here a lot to make the call profitable in the long run.

Got to call this. Our range is ahead of his, and the pot odds make this a call.
