Game type: 2/4 No limit cash game, shorthanded
Your image: Very aggressive
Misc notes:
Your hand: 7♦5♦
The setup: You’ve been playing a very aggressive preflop and flop game in this shorthanded no limit cash game. Your opponents are also fairly aggressive, and there have been several significant pots contested and taken down without a showdown.
This hand, UTG raises to $15, and UTG+1 calls. You call and the button calls, and the blinds fold. Not a bad flop (all skill):
4♦6♦A♣
The UTG raiser bets just about pot at $60, and UTG+1 folds. You flat call and the button calls. There’s a little over $240 in the middle and three of you see a turn of:
8♥
Nh, sir. UTG leads out again for about pot, $240, and it’s your action. The button has you covered behind, and UTG is now short.

I push and end it right there,
The Pot is big enough he might even be tempted to call because he got a lot in the middle already.
The Call play is also an option but because my opponent is aggresive I assume he calls my Push and if he lays it down ill take the big pot and be happy about it.

I agree with the staff.
The only hand that will fold to a push is a diamond draw, who only has 5 outs, so I am not too afraid.
If I just flat call, a set will think his hand is likely good on the river, so he will call a big bet.
I’ll also leave myself the option of folding on the river to a huge bet if the board pairs or a bad diamond falls.

Just noticed, If one player has a set, and the 8 of diamonds falls on the river (giving him a full house) , he’ll poor his money onto the table like a broken Jackpot!! (especially if one of them has AA!! )
There’es also the possibility that AK of diamonds (the second nut flush) will pay you off

when I said broken Jackpot, I meant broken slot machine, lol

I’ll call. I want to see what the dealer is up to – if anything. I’m guessing flush draw for him. And Mr. UTG? I put him on A9 or something like that. If he had a strong Ace, he probably would’ve went all in on the turn. If the dealer checks, UTG will probably go all-in on the river. And hopefully, there’s no diamond coming.

this is the nut straight now, but higher str8s are possible (someone playing 7-9 beats you if a T comes). Or they could be playing 9-T and a 7 could come.
I think it’s time to take this pot now.

Here is another scenario:
you call. dealer folds. A diamond hits river. UTG folds, because that draw was obvious. In this case a raise to get UTG all in rigth now is the solution.

I realize this is a big pot and a call might indeed be appropriate as stated by the staff (I have played this hand way too many times and calling indeed seems to pay off).
My vote is mini-raise though, for I believe a raise to 500 will get player A to call. If I take it to the river I am afraid player A might not call as dr hoho stated. Finally, I might get player D to call too with this mini-raise if he has AdXd or 2 pairs; and I’d rather take risk of player D folding to a raise (and pot-commit player A) than folding to a call.
Good analysis by drhoho.

i agree with Chris and Hoho. Small raise will probably take down pot or put A in. Either of these is okay by me.

What are you fishes talking about……
This is a push all day long. He is not folding AK of diams or a set! If he has a flush draw we are not getting anymore money in the pot on the river so it is an easy easy easy push!!
We want the money in when we have the best of it.
Calling also makes life difficult for us on the river if the board pairs. Does this site actually induce bad play?
