Game type: No Limit cash, 6 max
Your image: You’ve been playing fairly low-key
Misc notes:
Your hand: 7♥7♠
The Setup: You limp with your pair and Player B makes a standard raise to $18. The table folds around and you call. The flop does what a good flop should do:
6♣7♣Q♥
…and you lead out for about half pot, trying to look like you’re making a blocking bet. Player B flat calls, and the turn fills you up with the 6♥. You lead out for under half pot this time, $30, and now Player B raises you the minimum. What’s your play?

Just calling. Bet my boat on the river. (Pun intended.)

Figure him for a decent hand. Depending how I have represented myself up to that point, a large reraise can look like a semi bluff for a flush draw. There is no reason to try to get an extra few dollars here; go for the whole stack. If he has AQ or a large PP he might not fold on the turn. If a club comes on the river it will scare him.

Call here bet the pot on the turn. Laydown my boat to a second queen on the river.
This actually happened to me last night. ME: As8s flops Ah8h8c, comes an A on the turn, I bet 25% of my opponent’s bank, and get called. Turn comes Qh I figure him for AQ and now he has the bigger boat, I hope he has just an A. I make same bet, he comes over the top for all his money (about 20% of my bank). I fold showing the small side of the boat. He shows me his heart flush with the Jh, which he bet into a board with two pair showing. I went home, I’m still shaking my head.

I chose to small reraise to keep my opponent interested insted of him folding if I make a big raise. My opponent likes his hand and putting him on QK. You have to think here how do I make this hand last as long as possible and get as many chips from him as I can.
