As I see it, the problem with checkraising is that you can not be sure make a smallish pocket pair fold.
If you check, any small pair will bet around pot, and they migth pay the extra 9k to win a total pot of 30k.
So you risk just paying an unreasonably lot ekstra to the other player if he likes his hand postflop. You really have to analyze your opponent here: What hands would HE play? how much does he like stealing? If you really think he is likely to bet here with high cards, checkraise.
If he is a rock bet pot or check, prepairing to fold.

I hate the flat call from him preflop. Feels really strong. and a pot sized bet on the flop is tricky. You bet 3k and he raises all in, you’re now looking at 2-1 on your call. Bet 4k and it gets worse since you’re only a 3-1 dog against an overpair and there’s a good chance they are bluffing (enough of a chance to close the gap between 2.5-1 and 3-1 for sure).

I just give up here. This is an ugly situation. It seems weak, but you can check your overpairs on flops like this when you reraise out of position to keep your opponents in line.

he prefloped, so the flop missed him to. check raise the shit out of him. let him represent his premo cards then hammer the pot. you could buy the pot right here, but why not take a few more chips from him. if he checks too, bet the pot on the turn.
