Game type: 5 – table SNG (top 7 paid)
Your image: Fairly tight
Stage of tourney: Near the bubble
Avg stack: 8000
Misc notes:
Your hand: A♠Q♦
12 Players left on 2 tables in a 5-table SNG. Player A has been very aggressive PF, always coming into the pot with a significant raise. Here he limps UTG, another player calls and the small blind calls. You have not seen any decent cards for a couple of orbits, but now you look at A♠Q♦ in the BB. What’s your move?

Such a dumb question. For anyone who actually reads this site it is a no-brainer.

What about A9 this spot? A5?

I would be less inclined to push with a rag ace but most likely would pull the trigger anyways since there was no show of strength I am probably a coin flip at worst. A check puts you in bad shape with any ace since you will have no clue where you stand whether you hit or miss the flop.
Basically this boils down to short stack play and picking your best spot. You can’t sit around and wait for a monster then be called by half the table. Might as well get it in with any two face cards, any pair, any ace and quite possibly any king.
