I raise 2.5-3x the BB here. I can still fold to a re-raise, but since I have a tight image, the blinds probably won’t re-raise if I’m ahead.

Again.. I’m a wuss. I’d wait for the flop before getting all wired up to bet anything big.

I agree with 2′s. Pay structure would make a difference to me. Difference between 7th and 6th could be a lot of money in a 50$ buy in with this many players. I dont play at these stakes usually and if i do it is because i won a sattelite in. If I’m here i wait for the increase in pay. Smooth call and hope to flop trips or have an overpair. The difference of 500-1000 dollars means a lot to me. If you play these stakes a lot and feel comfortable with risking the extra money to try to win a lot more, then go for it. If this was a 1 to 5 dollar buy in tourney, I’d push so I guess I’d use that rationale.

There is no blind structure, but since it was said that the next person in would get a substancial increase i would play 4BB hoping for the easy win.
If i get raised big i would probably fold, and wait a couple more hands to push as an opportunity arises.

Payout typically sucks unless you are top 4. Difference between 6th and 7th is most likely minimal, so I would definitely push all-in.

If you decide to raise, the BB will almost certainly push you all-in, knowing what’s at risk. If you then fold, you will have barely any chips left.
